I wasnt ignoring you lol in fact I appreciate your ideas. I think that would be an excellent way to increase participation and make it more fun. It might even make me want to get back involved in the betting. i'm down here in evansville accross the river from kentucky. i see weve met a few times on the track. i know what you mean about this game keeping you busy. it's a never ending battle trying to figure out what to do with these horses. but its been a blast. hope you're having good luck at the track. if you happen to breed a 150, let me know. maybe we can work out a trade. just kiddin'.

i like your idea of having daily races to go along with 2 week tournaments. right now, all we have are bettor & jockey tournaments. i play the bettor tournaments for the daily action, plus it's something to do while earning daily 6000pts, & waiting for tournament races.
but what i don't like about bettor tournaments is we're all playing different races with different horses & different odds. we'r not really competing against each other.
instead of calling them bettor tournaments, how about puting a link on the home page and naming it "today at the races". then list maybe 4-5 different tracks to play, each having different entry fees. but instead of racing our own horses which would create too many problems for HRF, we bet on community horses like we do in bettor tournaments. but we all bet on the same races, same horses, and the same odds. this would eliminate cheating. then we could have 24hrs to place our bets. then betting windows close. then add another link on home page called "yesterday's results" where we could watch yesterdays races. bigken has a great idea of including show, place, and exactas included in wagering, plus giving everyone a set amount to wager with, with a maximum amount to bet on each race.
sorry, i did'nt mean to ramble on like this. and i wanted to say thanks for all of your posts on open forum. you've helped me and a lot of other players with your insight into this game. it's much appreciated.
