Hi! My name is Chelsey. I am 15 years old. I am a sophmore in high school. I live for racing! I only have 6 more months untill I can get my apprentice license. I can't wait! I have been galloping and breezing for 4 years now and ive been riding schooling races at Tampa Bay downs. I have been riding since...well, since I could walk I guess. Horse racing is my Life! I have been around them since i was born. And yes it was since I was born because I was born in a track hospital. Blue Ribbon Downs. My dad is a jockey. He race rides Quarter Horses at Prairie Meadows. I am an aspiring jockey. And I will do it, so dont tell me I can't. I just wanted to let you know about a DVD that will be coming out in early December. It's called "What It Takes to Be a Jockey" and will cover all aspects of a career as a professional jockey.
