Thank you! And you can be as young as 16-years-old to join the North American Racing Academy. BUT if you join at that age, you have to have proof that you finished highschool or you can take some kind of test, I think.

It's not a big deal!!

Well, it costs around $5,000 for instate students but students that come from out of state have to pay $10,000. I don't THINK that includes food or board though because I'm pretty sure they are just starting to build a campus. And I'm around 14.

It says that you pay per credit hour (so each semester I think). I'll send you a copy of what is says about the cost, though.

Yeah, I sure do love horses! That's one of the reasons why I want to become a jockey. The other reasons are because I'm drawn to the racetrack (though I don't know why!), I have a HUGE desire to win, and I think that jockeys are the neatest people in the world!

Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders. Alot of kids think that success will be handed to them so it's good to hear a teenager think differently. I wish you luck in your future as a jockey. That will be a tough life but if you love your work you will make a success of it.

Yes, I understand that is the way most teens think..and well, things don't always turn out great for them. So that's why I've adopted this kind of attitude. And thanks! I know it will definitley be a difficult life, but I don't mind..I like a good challenge and I have a feeling that's what I'm going to get!
