Foolish Pleasures Farrier

I was blessed to put the first set of shoes on Foolish Pleasure as a 2 year old April 4 1974 at Hialeah and instumental in getting to the Kentuckey Derby when he blew his frogs in the Florida Derby.

Oh that's so neat! Wow, to even be able to be around one of those great race horses would be an honor...let alone helping to take care of Foolish Pleasure (including shoeing, which obviously has an impact on how he runs).

I live in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina.I brought a throughbred with me from Hialeah race track years ago from a trainer named Carl Domino who still trains at Belmont.My Bandit passed away 2 years ago at the age of 33.May God bless you with all of your dreams.may they all come true,your pen pal Ernie Pinto.
