When it comes to capturing the magic of horse racing on the written page, Bill Heller does it as well as anybody. The author of 15 horseracing books, including six about handicapping, Bill has won 10 national awards for magazine writing, including the prestigious Eclipse Award and Breeders' Cup Writing Award. He was the leading public handicapper at the 2000 Saratoga meet and second in 2006, and he currently handicaps New York racing for the Daily Gazette in Schenectady, N.Y.
