Goodfellow, the only 130 and over horse in my stable.
A BSR 133 that raced way below that in training, hence his entry into this tournament. He has been consistent within this tournament in two races with how he performed in training. I believe that he is at the level he belongs at, at this point in his career, as he does not qualify for any restricted tournaments due to his over 130 BSR. Had he shown me better in training I would have placed him in a higher class tournament, but that was/is not the case. After two races he has two 5th place finishes for a total of $30,000 in earnings. Hopefully in his next few tournaments he will mature and get better, we shall see. 1/25/12
Started slow but finished fast and first
As a result of this victory Goodfellow's next tournament is the "Safe Trip Around" where he will run in five G-1 Races. I hope the experience in this tournament carries over to the Safe Trip Around. See you all down the road. 2/5/12
