This Jockey Tournament is open to all members who meet the requirements listed below. This tournament will run from Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 12:01 AM CDT through Tuesday, October 14, 2008 11:59 PM CDT. Members who sign up for this tournament will be ranked by Highest Average Points Per Start in Community Mode Jockey Races during the Tournament's scheduled time. Winners will be announced at 8PM CDT on Thur. October 16, 2008.
Tournament Entry Fee: FREE!
Requirement(s):
Must be a registered and verified user of Horse Racing Fantasy
Must have run less than 250 races prior to signup
Must run a minimum of 100 Races during the tournament
Cannot be entered into any previous New Member Tournaments.
Prizes:
Winners will be awarded the following (rated by Highest Average Points Per Start)
1st Place - 75,000 Community Points
2nd Place - 50,000 Community Points
3rd Place - 20,000 Community Points
BONUS - 5,000 Community Points to user running the most races during the tournament

when i go to tournaments nothing there???
when i go to the tournaments under prebuilt race there is nothing there?? confused?
Not sure where to go
When I bring up the window to race and go into play tournament race, there is nothing there. But when I click on play pre-built race, I get four but I can race in two. I am confused.
Pre-built races
When I go to community mode for this tournament and push the basic game it sends me to purchase a race. Do I have to purchase a race or is there something I am doing wrong?

need to find derbygirls blog and read about tournaments....it states that one must just race regular races from the master file...and just pick a race...the points per race will count as races completed for tournament...i reset my stats so I would know when I was at 100...someone correct me if I'm wrong...some tournaments have files you download...apparently since this is the best of 100 races...there is nothing to download...so u just race

I am still unable to race. There is no races in the tournament window. What do I do if I am unable to compete in the tournament due to no races provided for me to compete in?
How to play in tournaments

You're not understanding how to race in tournaments. You need to read the Tournament Entry Guide and follow my blog. You will find the Tournament Entry Guide by clicking on the Game & Community Info tab from the left-hand navigation menu here in the community.
Jason is correct. When you enter a tournament, all races run in community mode as a jockey or bettor, depending upon the type of tournament you enter, will count toward your races in the tournament. Again, I recommend reading the Tournament Entry Guide and asking questions in the general forums.

fantastic!!!! awesome...I knew I would guranntee at least a top 3 spot at 400 points per start...but had no idea I would actually win until reading the prior tournament results from last month...awesome! this game is the greatest!
