Sundays $100,000 Dania Beach Stakes at Gulfstream features a field of 11 two-year-olds who will compete at a mile on the turf. Finale ran a disappointing seventh-place finish as the favorite in the Breeders\' Cup Juvenile Turf and came in undefeated in three prior grass outings, but had a bad trip which probably sealed his fate; he will try to bounce back today. He is going against a very strong lineup that includes Excaper who finished second in the Juvenile Turf. Coalport finished second in the Grade 3 Bourbon at Keeneland and then faded to finish up the track in the Juvenile Turf after showing brief speed. Summer Front is undefeated in two starts and is coming off a win in Aqueduct\'s King Cugat stakes. Italo rallied to defeat Burning Time by three-quarters of a length last out in the Arthur Appleton Juvenile Turf at Calder and they will renew their rivalry here today. Vee One Rotate, Empire Builder, and Csaba are all coming off two-race win streaks. Csaba breaks from the rail and will be running on grass for the first time, and he has the breeding to do so. Starforce has only one race in his career so far, but won it wire to wire and is the only one in the field that can boast an undefeated record.
