The Frank J. De Francis Memorial Dash is an ungraded race with a purse of $150,000, but historically a very important race. Ravalo, who leads the Dash field with 16 career victories and $1.1 million in earnings is a contender but faces some formidable rivals. Ravalo ran well enough to win the $200,000 Remington Sprint Championship two starts ago. Candyman E is a four year old who will be making his first start in stakes company after three straight sprint wins. Its Never Too Late draws the far outside and is coming off two consecutive victories but lost to Candyman E three starts back. Congressional Page is hoping to regain the form that saw him finish second in the Grade 2 Commonwealth last year and the Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Sprint Handicap. Immortal Eyes is coming off three straight wins in non-graded stakes and has the credentials and form to win here.
