The $75,000 Ralph M. Hinds Handicap at Fairplex on Sunday features a nice little field of runners led by Quindici Man who finished third in the Grade 1 Santa Anita Handicap and breaks from the rail. Breaking from the far outside post is El Gato Malo who finished second in the Windy Sands at Del Mar last out, just ahead of Achak who is also entered here today. Norvsky has finished second or first in his last five races so he is always there at the wire, and he looks like a strong candidate to finish in the exacta. Atticus Jack is coming off as a nice non-winner of two allowance races but has finished a couple lengths behind Norvsky a couple of times prior to that. Chocolate Candy was once highly regarded in the 2009 Triple Crown series but has gone off form a bit, and most recently finished four lengths behind El Gato Malo in the above-mentioned Windy Sands. Pode Ir is a long-shot and rounds out the field.
