Saturday at Parx Racing is headlined by the $1 million Grade 2 Pennsylvania Derby and features the Belmont Stakes winner Ruler on Ice as well as Travers Stakes runner-up Rattlesnake Bridge. Both are formidable runners who seem about evenly matched in ability. In the Travers, Ruler On Ice did finish 4th about three lengths behind aforesaid Rattlesnake Bridge, and a length-and-a-quarter behind J W Blue, who is also entered in this race. To Honor and Serve was one of the most talked about two-year-olds and disappointed in the spring, but now he looks like he is back after drawing away by eight lengths from a solid allowance field, which earned him the best last race Beyer Speed Figure in this field. He may be joined on the front end by Rush Now who came in second in the West Virginia Derby last out and if a speed duel develops, both their chances could be compromised. The lineup is completed by Arthur\'s Tale, Norman Asbjornson, Pender Harbour, and Isn\'t He Perfect.
