The G2 $300,000 Gulfstream Park Handicap Saturday has attracted a classy field led by Tizway, Rule, Soaring Empire, and Tackleberry. In the Gulfstream Sprint Championship last month, Tackleberry outran the favorite Soaring Empire who will try to avenge his loss today. Rule, who breaks from the rail, finished a good second to Soaring Empire two back in the Hals Hope, but was beaten only 1-1/4 lengths and could easily get the best of him with a good trip. Duke of Mischief will Likely stalk the pace and finished second to Tackleberry in the Sunshine Millions Classic - he could cause a mild upset here. Jackson Bend will try to recapture the stellar form he displayed during the Triple Crown trail last year, and Tizway will try to rebound from a disappointing fifth place loss in the Breeders Cup Dirt Mile. Our Dark Knight has never won a race of this caliber but did win a nice allowance race here at Gulfstream in January. Pulsion completes the lineup.
