Gulfstream will have the $100,000 Sugar Swirl Stakes (Grade 3) at six furlongs on dirt for fillies and mares 4-years-old and up which draws a big field of 10 but no real clear cut favorite. Jessica is Back, who won the Grade 1 Princess Rooney Stakes last July and Hildas Passion who won the Raven Run at Keeneland (Grade 2) most recently will likely vie for favoritism. Hildas Passion has won two in a row but those races were run over synthetic and a sloppy track. Tar Heel Mom will get some respect as well as she has finished in the top three in eight straight races, including a win in the Grade 2 Distaff Handicap at Aqueduct last April. Moontune Missy is a little light on speed figures and didn\'t fare too well in the Breeders Cup Filly & Mare Sprint after steadying in the race, but her prior race was solid just losing by a head in the Grade 2 Gallant Bloom. J Z Warrior is coming off an allowance win and needs to step it up a bit to win here. Bronx City Girl will be a long-shot but she is graded stakes placed, managing a decent third last summer in the Grade 3 Azalea at Calder. D Wild Ride, Landing My Way, Noisy Feet, and Ms. Vanenzza round out the field.
