A field of six go postward for Saturdays $250,000 Iowa Derby led by Winslow Homer who won the Holy Bull Stakes back in January but who has not raced since - Ramon Dominguez rides him. Concord Point is coming off a good second in the Lazo Barrerra at Hollywood Park last month with the best speed figure in the race, but it was on cushion track and today he will be racing on natural dirt. Forestry Type has registered three victories in a row but has yet to race in graded stakes company - he will be the likely frontrunner and will have to hope he has enough in the stretch to hold them off. Thiskyhasnolimit most recently won the non-graded Matt Winn stakes at Churchill Downs in May. He did win the Iroquois Stakes last year as a two year old. Vow to Wager was no match for Thiskyhasnolimit in the Matt Winn but did bounce back nicely with a good third place finish in the Grade 3 Northern Dancer in June. Down with Dixie most recently won an allowance race and tries his hand in graded stakes company for the first time.
