A field of 8 go postward for Sundays $100,000 Will Rogers Stakes at Hollywood Park led by Bogie and Dream Nettie who both faced each other in the La Puente at Santa Anita in April, with Dream Nettie winning and Bogie getting up for third. Bogie came back to win an allowance race at Hollywood Park last month and looks ready to go. Dream Nettie came back in his next race in the Alcatraz stakes up at Golden Gate Fields in which he finished second to Hudson Landing, who is also entered today. Hudson Landing has now won three straight and Russell Baze saw fit to fly down to Hollywood Park to ride this one. Leroys Dynameaux finished third to Dream Nettie in the Alcatraz but only lost by 3/4 of a length. Macias won two minor turf stakes at Santa Anita in December and February, but has lost his last three starts. He was fourth in the Grade 3 Laz Barrera Memorial Stakes here May 22. Camp Victory is coming off of a nice 50K claiming race at Hollywood Park on the turf and is trained by the very capable Carla Gaines and ridden by the best jockey in the field, Rafael Bejarano, but still has to contend with the big step up in class. Ukandoit might be able to do it, but has never run beyond 6 1/2 furlongs, still he has won his last three starts and has been training very well showing three straight bullet works. Whos Up did win the Grade 3 Generous Stakes on the grass last November at Hollywood Park, so we know he likes this surface.
