A small field of six go 1-1/8 miles in the Grade 2, $200,000 Bonnie Miss Stakes at Gulfstream Park on Saturday led by Amen Hallelujah who is coming off of two straight wins in the Santa Ynez (Grade 2) at Santa Anita and most recently, a 6-1/4 length romp in the Grade 2 Davona Dale over the Gulfstream Park strip. She is going to be tough. Newcomer Christine Daae figures to stalk the pace, and though she has never won in stakes competition, she has two impressive wins now including a nice allowance win at Gulfstream Park, so what she lacks in experience, she may make up in upside potential and a liking for the track. Devil May Care won the Grade 1 Frizette, and after a disastrous trip in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies, Devil Mary Care made her 3-year-old debut in the Silverbulletday at Fair Grounds where she disappointed, finishing fifth of six as the 4-5 favorite. Switch changes surfaces to dirt after finishing in the money over synthetic surfaces at Santa Anita in both the Las Virgenes and the Santa Ynez, and in all three career starts she has been right there at the finish, so she likes to compete for sure and has the class. Dannys Friend and Joanies Catch round out the field.
