The Rood and Riddle Dowager features 11 fillies, as German-bred mare Caprice was third in last year's Rood and Riddle Dowager Stakes at Keeneland and returns for the $125,000 turf event on Sunday. She faced off with Lemonette in her last race and finished a length behind her and now gets a chance to turn the tables on that one in todays race. But both will have their hands full with Black Mamba, the well deserved favorite who recently finished a close third in the Grade 1 Yellow Ribbon Stakes. Drawing the rail is Winter View who also looks good and is a two time Grade 3 winner. Ballynoe and Sweet and Flawless might have an upset chance as well.
