The E. P. Taylor features a strong international presence, with four of the eight runners making their first North American appearance. Rainbow View, a two-length victress in the September 5 Matron S. (G1) at Leopardstown will be the one to beat. Conditioned by John Gosden, the champion juvenile filly notched her first win in 2009 in the sixth start of her sophomore season last time, but she's still given a fine account of herself, placing in prestigious events like the Nassau S. (Eng-G1) and Coronation S. (Eng-G1) this year. Treat Gently, piloted by Garret Gomez and trained by Bobby Frankel has put up European Racing Post Ratings very close to favorite Rainbow View, so based on numbers she can compete. Salve Germania is coming off a solid win in the G2 Balston Spa Handicap over the Saratoga turf course. Her European form does not match up with the two aforementioned however. Look Here won the G1 English Oaks as a 3-year-old, and finished a head behind Arc de Triomphe runner up Youmzain in the Coronation Cup (G1) at Epsom earlier this year, so she certainly has the class. Princess Haya won the G2 Canadian over this Woodbine Turf course last month, a nice win, but she has never faced this level of competition.Lahaleeb, Roses n Wine, and Eastern Aria round out the field.
