On Saturday, in the Grade 1, $300,000 Lady's Secret Stakes at Santa Anita's Oak Tree meeting, Zenyatta will attempt to extend her undefeated record from 12 to 13 consecutive wins. She has already beaten every horse entered in this race, with the exception of two overmatched longshots, Sweet and Flawless and Made for Magic. She defeated the Godolphin trained Cocoa Beach in the Breeders Cup last year by a length and a half, she has twice disposed of the talented Life is Sweet (Garret Gomez rides) who is very talented in her own right. She has put away Lethal Heat and Anabaa's Creation, most recently in the G1 Clement L. Hirsch at Del Mar - the one knock against her is that she beat these two aforementioned horses by fairly narrow margins, so they have to hope that represents a decline in form. Otherwise it is her race to lose.
