The seven-furlong, $300,000 King\'s Bishop S. (G1) is one of the most important sprint races in the country, and this field is loaded with talent. Capt. Candyman Can, second to a Travers favorite Quality Road in the Amsterdam S. (G2) last out, is perfect from three starts at this distance and could be the second choice for Ian Wilkes. The stellar son of Candy Ride has finished second once at races less than a mile, but has bagged the other four, three of which came in stakes tussles.

Munnings was a hard-trying third in his route experiment last out in the Haskell (G1), but cuts back to a trip which is right up his alley. The scintillating Todd Pletcher-trained son of Speightstown is an awesome one-turn runner and should be a slight favorite against this standout cast. The impressive Big Drama got a little leg weary in his last pair of route events but should find this trip exactly what the doctor ordered for trainer David Fawkes. Not For Silver rallied from the clouds to runaway with the Carry Back S. (G2) last out and will be running late for Michael Trombetta.
