There are quite a few things going on simultaneously. First and foremost – the desktop client extension. All the modifications we wanted to make – the ones that delayed the launch – are all completed. In the end, it will be well worth the wait. Testing is going on and, hopefully, that is wrapped up in the next 24 to 48 hours. The new desktop client extension now ties in beautifully with the website. In addition, the client’s interface and new features will save trainers a ton of time when training horses. I’m very excited about the release. Keep your fingers crossed on this final round of testing that we’re doing
We are working on the Stable page and the Stable Summary page. Not only are there additional features being added to these pages that will further help trainers manage larger stables, but we’re also making adjustments that will allow the pages to load much quicker. Players will have the option to turn the Unity stable feature on and off. This will make a big difference. We’re about 35% to 40% through with these changes.
We’re also working on the new player wizard. Though we are getting a lot more new players, our tracking software is indicating that we can further increase the numbers by making some adjustments in how the players interact with the new player wizard. This is the lifeline to new members and it needs to be optimized to maximize new player retention and education.
General game fixes. We’re still tweaking some small little issues that are popping up from the updates. Those appear to be less and less each day.
This is where our focus is right now and probably will be for the next couple of weeks. Once we complete everything mentioned above, we will work on additional new features including breeding multiple horses simultaneously, naming your horse after breeding, some adjustment in the Green Restricted Tournaments, and the Invitational General Tournaments as well. As you can see, we started posting stories, articles and polls again in the community. The frequency of these should pick up over the next couple of weeks. There are plenty of tournaments that are now active. There will be a lot more tournaments that will start soon. But, with that said, there is still a large number of horses in stables, sitting there and not being entered. We believe once the desktop client extension is released (very, very, very soon), we would expect another big pickup in tournament entries.
