Zenyatta will run in the 2010 Classic to ensure her status as the best female horse in history.

You must be kidding. I think you should ask this of, Rachael Alexandra. Not , Zenyatta. I say, Zenyatta will definetly go in the Classic and, Rachael Alexandra will go in the Ladies Classic. I'll add. Nobody is going to beat, Zenyatta. She'll retire undefeated. JMHO

She is undoubtly the best female horse right now. I don't think she will have any competition in the Classic. She is going to go all the way and get horse of the year honors.

I doubt she will be as successful at Churchill Downs, she hasn't run at any track outside of California. Sure her owner has confirmed she will run, but this is a different track in a different state and it's not on her synthetic surface either and she's going to have to get used to that since they are removing the synthetic off of most CA tracks. And they say her best run was on dirt but then why didn't they run her on dirt after that anymore? And I really think the only reason she won the BCC was because the rest of the field had never ran on synthetic up until that day. So I don't think she will be as lucky as she was last year.

It won't be sure thing!!!!

If it rains and the track is sloppy they won't run her. They won't take the chance to run her for fear of her being injured like George Washington in 2007. We'll have to wait and see!!!!

joedracer79Last years horse of the year was as crooked as G.W Bush winning florida and to this day no will admit that they got it wrong.Zenyatta WAS THE BEST THEN THE BEST NOW AND WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY AS THE GREATEST horse of all times..Idont take anything from Racheal she is as fine as they come,but now were starting to see the oil separate for the water.

I thought Zenyatta ran on

I thought Zenyatta ran on dirt at at Oaklawn Park in 2008 and won by 4.5L. And then again in 2010 and won by 4.5L. I guess it must just be my overactive imagination again.

get your facts straight...

Actually, Zenyatta has won on dirt outside of California. She does not usually race on dirt because her trainer is based in CA and all the tracks there are synthetic. She won the BCC because she was the best horse in the race. Surface is not an excuse for the other horses. Great horses (like Zenyatta) can win on any surface.

Ok well thats a choice and i don't know why EVERYONE is picking that. I mean she's not "the best female horse in history."

I love Zenyatta, she is like my fav. racehorse but shes isn't the best female horse in history. I ALSO think she will finish undefeated, but still

Zenyatta....

Will get horse of the year this year.... but I do Believe Rachael though puttering out this year.. did deserve it last year for sure.. and since the public votes... they thought so as well.. this year.. Zenyatta has hit her peak.. and she is hot.. as for the best female horse of all time?... no Ruffian still has that.. yes Zenyatta may have won more.. but times have changed in all of these years..... Zenyatta could be the best mare of all time.. give her another year of what she is doing... but this time I will say she deserves Horse of the Year.. :D
