if they do meet in the breeders cup that would be great but i think that they'll both be in the breeders cup but not in the same race . i think zenny will go for the bc classic again but i think rachel's trainer will put her in the ladies classic not the bc classic . and i think even if zenyatta does'nt win the bc classic that she still should get horse of the year , i mean she is un deafeated in 17 career starts and she has surpassed the longest winning streak set by cigar and citation and she has beaten the best horses in the world of 2009 .

Back in 2009 I would have mortgaged the house to see those two run against each other, but now I just want to have Zenyatta end her racing career without a loss and I don't want to see Rachel beaten again. I think that Rachel will be doing beter and better as the year goes on, but Zenyatta is probably at or beyond her best (not that we'll ever know for sure given her racing style) and racing the two against each other now wouldn't be fair given the age difference. Neither owner now has anything to win from running his mare against the other -- somebody is going to lose and that is not going to be good. They have both more than earned a place in the history books of horse racing.

OK, having pretty much said that Zenyatta isn't as young as she was and Rachel isn't as fast as she was, I still want to see them run against each other. How about just the two and no other horse? It has been done before, just two champions against each other. It would be a race for the decade if not the century.
