I would pick one horse to win and root him down the Churchill stretch screaming my head off.

3-horse exacta

With the Derby, you could bet on just one horse but there is always that long shot that sometimes pulls the upset like Mine That Bird, Giacomo and pays good. I would definitely go with the 3 horse exacta.

Favorite

I would pick a random favorite or a horse I have followed (1st choice) and act sort of like a cheerleader! Even if he doesn't win, what does it matter?

Kentucky Derby

I wish there weren't so many horses in the race. Way to much traffic. The best horses don't usually win. I would limit the entries to 14. But I love Derby Day, with all of its tradition, history, and beauty.

In the Derby, there are a lot of long shots surprises that might upset the favorite. So Id rather go with the 3 horse exacta.
