Please... can a horse win the Triple Crown for crying out loud...

Hopefully one of Big Brown's offspring will do it, I'd love to see that.

All of these were good choices to pick from and even though I would want to see a Triple Crown winner and Rachel to win the 2010 Breeders Cup Classic, I voted for every horse not breaking down and making it back to the barn. In my eyes, this is a very unselfish thing.

Okay, so I rationalized

I like the generality of "something wonderful". It could mean no breakdowns, or it could mean a Triple Crown winner or some other fantastic thing. I'm nearly willing to settle for '"make all other forms of gambling illegal " and "tax the living daylights out of any winnings from casinos on Native American land", but realistically there's no way either one of those things are going to happen. So, I'm going for the generic "something wonderful" and I'm hoping for the best.

I really hope a triple crown

I really hope a triple crown winner to come . I want it to be a filly or colt of smarty jones' , cause he was so close in 04 and i think this will bring the popularity of horse racing back to the top .

I would like to see one off Big browns offspring win the Triple crown too. And i would like to see Rachel Alexzandra in the breeders Cup again.

Just maybe, it could happen.

Rachel Alexandra wins the Triple Crown, goes undefeated and then wins the Breeders Cup Classic and HOY. It could happen if her owners and trainers have the faith in her and she is physically sound. You can't win if you don't compete.

I'm with you there, Sharon. Although it's more likely we'll get a triple crown winner than a season without injuries. I have to care about the critters that give so much for so little. Even with my poorly bred mutt of a 4H horse, he gives everything he's got to keep my daughters safe, and to do what they want him to, more generous than we deserve sometimes. Gotta love 'em.
