I've ridden horses in two consecutive Breeders' Cups and for any jockey, that's a great opportunity. But I have to tell you, I am so excited about the 2009 Kentucky Derby. My name is Joe Talamo and I am a community member here at Horse Racing Fantasy, but am also the jockey of the 2009's Kentucky Derby favorite, I Want Revenge.

Have I got some insight for you on this year's 2009 Kentucky Derby! And, do you think I have good inside information? Well, I hope so. But, my information goes beyond just the 2009 Derby. Yes, I want to talk about I Want Revenge, and why shouldn't I?

After a few days back home with the family, I got back into Southern California last night, pumped up and ready for a start of a new racing meet. Don't get me wrong. I love nothing more than being with my family. My mom and dad mean the world to me.

One of the greatest things about horse racing, both live and when you’re playing it in the game, is the excitement of the sport itself. I love doing my homework and learning everything I can to make sure that I am completely prepared for a race. But I also love having to think on my feet once I’m out on the track. Because I’ve found that for me to be successful, there has to be a balance between the two.
