I think it is adjusted speed

I think it is adjusted speed rating not sure about the glue thing. Puddles said we all get 1 month to evaluate our horse before having to decide on that. I say enter in races and see what it does before retirement.

whats a good # for asr

I have a horse that at about 105 is that good or avg. I have some that are around 85 and I have seen them run poorly ever time. What range = a great horse and what range = good and so on.

It all depends on the horses

It all depends on the horses you race against and your horses style. My top horse has a 113 my worst one has an 83 but if they raced against each other and that 113 got caught in traffic than the speed becomes useless. It is a good idea on slower horses to tell your jockey to avoid traffic at all costs. 105 is a decent horse in my opinion capable of winning under the right conditions vs faster horses. I have all 7 of mine in tournaments so I can better judge them my hope is to make back my money on the slower ones so I can retire them and try again. Sadly I was forced to put my speed horse on the wrong surface for his first tournament to get a good look at him.
