Just wondering, when you play the game is there one horse that you always like to ride no matter the odds? Like for me is Jury Duty but just wondering if other people have certain "favs" also.
As far as game horses go, my favorite has to be Flying Post - she has such a turn of foot!
I also like Daisy Cutter, Snowblower, Huayun, Rare N to Go, and ThatAEs Gold a lot, and Dancin with Dynomi(te) used to be my favorite but she doesn't turn up for me as often since the latest major upgrade.
As my jockey record will show, I always like to ride the losers its seems .....
As I am new I haven't yet learned which horses are good ones and which are bad ones. I do prefer to stay off the favorites and pick a middle-of-the-road odds horse as they pay better points if I can get them across the line and in the money.
I like all of those mentioned, but my favorite for any thing over a mile ( among the community horses ) is One Eyed Nancy.
Dr Fager up to 1 &1/8 mile and Kelso for the long races of the champions i have.
I don't have a favorite horse but for a five furlong race in the european race list my favorite horse is Vincent Vega. I won by 10 lengths in a 5 furlong race.
yeah Jury Duty is great, Lionheart, Rich Chatter can run.. Second Effort on turf, dont forget horses change during the season.. might explain some horses not doing what they did before with new stars popping up.. White Chocolate improved lately, can hold distance better..Enufwitdahaydude.. King TNT seemed to lose a little.. JumpTheQueue sometimes runs well depending on conditions..Zafin, of course Here Comes Thunder, Tardy Loans, Vincent Vega.. If I were to ask for something on the cosmetic end is that we get to name the horse AFTER we know what it is, even IF the entire naming convention of the community horses makes no sense and the best horses are mostly fillies.. But, we can't give the trainer horses gender specific names without looking just as silly, so at least the bouncing baby foal might be helpful if we knew at least the gender before having to name it FWIW, small potatoes!
thanks!

Don't make many posts, but saw this and thought i'd add a few horses as most of the ones are class 1 horses and there are some great rides below that class. Most of these are ridden from the back!--in some cases well back.
Onthe prowl--fast dirt, 11/4-11/2 almost unbeatable.
Happy Gilmore--soft turf 1/14-1/12--can get 17-22 lengths adrift
Skimmingoverthetop--good-firm turf 7-9F
Watch my dust--5/F, but any horse with very good speed in the 3 inside draws!
So What--firm 11/4-11/2
Private Eye--11/2 yielding
Stake you claim--1-11/4 yielding
Ultraviolet--11/4-1/12 fast dirt
Grand Illusion--1/14-11/2 soft, yielding turf--another 17-22 lengths off the speed.--allows you to slingshot off the final bend at pace.
Class 1--snoblower, tnt, lionheart, Flying post in the soft.nine-eyed nancy--what closing speed!
may have missed a few!
lol--just noticed 11,000 races and only 323,000 points--that's under 30 points a race----apparently!!!
The number of races and points takes into account all those pointless trainer races.. So, its not 30 points per race.. not to mention the points shown is what you have left, not what you earned.. Right now I am at 2 points per race! Of course Ive spent probably 200,000 on the trainer game..
Daisy Cutter runs out of gas at 1 1/2 miles, both jury duty and here comes thunder and even lionheart can beat her at that distance.. But at shorter distances, unless I jockey those others, daisy cutter is tough to beat.
Heavy Fog is pretty good too..
I like riding Cold Croc Ya. I've never lost on her. I also like QT Poco Strene and my trainer horse Furlin Flag. I haven't lost on him in four races so far.
-The spirited horse, which will try to win the race of its own accord, will run even faster if encouraged.

I love riding Here comes thunder onse i won by 20 lengths!and i bet 20,000 on her, when ever i ride her she wins!she wins on any track when im riding her

bernie, i used to think that to, until i bred my filly named Buccarra. she beat Daisy Cutter by 2 lenths. None of the other horses i've bred have been able to beat Daisy Cutter so i consider Buccarra to be my best horse, it's funny because i was considering retiring Buccarra today. I'm soo glad i didn't because now she's my best horse and my favorite ride!
Hi All -
Just joined a couple days ago. Have only been playing off line. Trying to learn the game. Found this thread and it has helped give me some insight into some of the better horses. Thanks.
For me in private mode - Jump the Queue has been really good. Only time I have lost was due to jockey error, getting stuck in traffic. Well, just have to keep trying and learn from my mistakes. =)
I really, really like Aces Wild, although since the last major update I haven't been able to find her in as many races as before, but she is still a great horse to ride and she will give everything to win for you!
Here Comes Thunder, One Love 13, Sure Bet, Tictaktoe, Daisy cutter, Nine Eyed Nancy, Far From Over, and Golden Java are the ones that come to mind I ride everytime I see them. I also like IRS repo in the low grade races at long odds.
Well, my favs are Lunar Eclipse, Ontheprowl, Romping Rabbit, Here Comes Thunder, Wonderful Magic annnnnnnd Enufwitdaheydude. All have a good turn of foot when asked, and have given me some fun races. If there was a race between all six of them, I would have to go with Lunar Eclipse--he's the most versatile ( sorry I can't spell correctly) and he's a closer, my prefered type of running style.

I really like Ira Fun. She got a great turn of foot when you hit the home straight. Some of my biggest winning margins have been on her.

For me its a toss up tween Daisy Cutter and Here Comes Thunder. I actually dropped 16L on the field in a 8F race riding HCT. It was sweet!
