Just curious- now that a few of the all-time champion files are advertised as available for download from the website shop, I'm wondering why we haven't seen any response from gamers using these files. I'm assuming these are for sale now-or maybe it's just window dressing for when they will be available at a later date.
In the event that some of you are racing Man o War, Phar Lap, Kelso, etc, I would be interested in your feedback as to how the greats are faring in the newest version of the game. Any great matchups, photo finishes or surprises? Particularly interested in comments from those of you who owned the game in its previous incarnations to see what is different and better with the latest version, as I am still contemplating VIP membership and purchase of assorted all-time great files.
Any info would be appreciated.

I have for one have not played with the new files yet. I am trying to play in as many tourney's and run as many races so I can earn as many points to buy those files. It is shouldnt take me that long when I win the next VIP jokcey tournament and snatch those points from you guys :)
As for past version those horses were very accurate to what I have read on about some of them (not old enough to see them race)....so I cant imagine that would be any different in this version of the game
We have added new traits to the horses in the horse racing game to make the horse in this virtual horse race game even better .
I built a race that included the best horses from 2006. Horses like Barbaro, George Washington, Invasor, Jazil, and Bernardini. However it was Lawyer Ron that took control down the stretch and ousted Barbaro. I just bought a lot of different files so I'm curious to race these champion horses of the past.
In privite mode you can match horses from all different files . Because Barbaro lost in that situation does not mean he would lose to Lawyer Ron in all situations. Change the distence of the race ,the track surface,the age of the horses and put different horses in the race . This will effect the out come big time. The best part about our horse racing game is that you will never see the same horse race twice. We use so many factors that change the potential out come .
have a ton of fun and run those races .
ps in the next version you will be able to use your bought horse files in community mode .
I've got the 2004 file and the pre-1950 file. In the 2004 file I have almost 80 wins with Ghostzapper. He doesn't seem to do as well when I'm not the jockey but if I've got the ride it's basically an automatic win with that horse. Man O' War is very dominant. You just give him a little push out of the gate so he gets the lead and then just coast home. I've raced him 38 times with 32 wins and no finishes out of the money. I've had fun with Assault too. He seems to charge on the backstretch while other horses are just rationing their energy...
cool...keep the updates going with the greats as I am very interested in hearing how some of the greats do against each other :)
I am a big fan of horse racing and do own some race horses here in the Philippines. I would like to buy some items in the shop but there is no option for delivery here in the Philippines.. Can we come up with solutions to ship merchandise here? I love to have the shirts in the shop so that I can show and brag about it to my co-horse owners..

Hi Pacman- that really shows that the game has international appeal. Maybe someday Asia's top races will be in the game. I recommend emailing support@horseracegame.com and ask them directly, since your question could get burried in this thread. I am sure the team will do there best to help with this request.
