I think you have to add the file to your cart using the icon that says, "Add Using Your Points"... not the one that says "Add To Your Shopping Cart"
i tried that ut still asking me to enter credit card
Not sure if this is the issue but when you are buying a horse file or races using points you need to select the "add using your points button" from the first screen. I am guessing you selected the "add to your shopping cart" button. If you dont have enough points to cover your total balance then it will ask for your credit card. But if you do have enough points. the "add using your points" button will cover all costs and no need for credit card.
Just ran into the same thing, tried to get through the use your points part to get a horse file. Said points until I tried to checkout then reverted to wanting 9.95.
Not sure what is going on . I will have to have the programers look into this. Sounds like the points module is turned off. It could be from the repairs they did last night. I would send a email to support when having issues and not post here. They response will be faster . Please email support@horseracegame.com att Paul . he will get the issue resolved .
I am having the exact same problem. when it gives the order summary it says 0 bal. then when you goto checkout it says 9.95 and wants a card.
If you read this racing blog you can see we know about the issue. It is being fixed. It might me a day it might be a hour . It will be fixed . This virtual racing game has a lot of moving parts and we have a lot to do. The points are not going away so just please give us time . have fun and win races with this GREAT HORSE RACING GAME
We have fixed the issue with points for buying horse and hore race files for our horse racing game. Please feel free to use your points now for all new horse racing files you want to buy. Keep playing our virtual horse race game .
I hate to bring this up again, however i just tried to use points to by horse files for the best files of the 80's and it is asking for a credit card and i pushed the button to use points. thanks
We are looking into the issue. It is best to report this to support@horseracegame.com and not in the forums. Forums may take 5x longer for us to notice . Support emails go to 3 people ASAP. It seems that one of the recent security updates was making preventing the automatic selection of "Free Order - payment not necessary" when the total for the order was $0.00 but this has been resolved.
The reason you were being prompted to enter credit card information, was Credit Card was selected as the payment method. A radio button was offered below to use your "free order."
Now, the default selection should prevent this from happening in the future. Please e-mail support@horseracegame.com if you are unable to complete your purchase(s).
