Tournaments!!
They are here! Can't wait for them to begin. But, I think the jockey ones should of had a restricted limit of how many races can be ran each day. Reason being there are two guys on here that run 100's of races each day and will have the upper hand each time on the jockey tournaments.

yes I think some explanation of how the tourney's work is in order.
There will be a detailed post about our horse racing tournaments later today . Also a email is going out tonight with even more bonus info (little extra treat) and the tournament schedule .
Please note there will be many and I say many tournments going on at 1x . There could be 10-20 -30 or more horse racing tournamnets going on. Please do not worry about restrictions we will go into those in more detail each week . You will see that based on a persons skill set and the way they play may or may not work in there favor for a certain tournament
Tournaments may or may not have restrictions(most will) on them . Some will be for VIP members only . Some will require a member to to have a certain number of races (min or max) or a certain win % as a jockey or ROI as a bettor. There will be some horse racing game tournaments they will require so many posts in our horse racing community and there will be racing tourments segmented by gender , age group and so much more
There are 2 types of tournaments the first generated by us and 2ed generated by the users . This is just a taste of what we hope becomes a very exciting feature for all our members to our horse racing family VIP and none .
Please remember 1 thing fellow horse racing fan nuts . Most, 95% of all tournments will require a entry fee(community points) . The entry fee is NEVER cash! You will need points to enter so build up up your points as fast as you can ....play in community mode and WIN
I think that in the jockey tournaments you should factor it by points earned instead of win% it's harder to take a longshot and show than to take a favorite and win. If it is win% I think the game will get real boring real fast if you are just picking favorites.
There will be many different jockey tournaments . Each will be unique in its own way, some will be based on wins,some points per start and several other factors. Do not worry there will be 10 -20 or more tournaments per week . They will all be very cool and have different qualifications and different ways to win these fun horse racing tournaments . We want this virtual racing game to have mass appeal and we think it will once it really get's going. Please just have fun. We have so much to do with this racing game and we know it

I am entered in two jokcey tourney's at the same time. Will the races I run count in both tourney's? Or do I need to specifiy which ones they count for when the timeframe overlaps?
i cant even enter the vip tournament because im taken off??
How did that happen?
You will be runing in both horse racing tournaments at the same time . You do not have to switch between them . Any horse racing tournamnet that you have entered during a certain time period will have those races count towards that horse racing jockey tournaments or betting tournament you are entered in as well.
This is the way it will be unless the rules say different.(our horse racing tournaments can run 2 different ways ) I would suggest you read the tournament rules located in the section on the left navigation (Game and communiyu info) .
There are certain tournamnets that will be run with files we send out for the tournament entrents . those horse racing tournamnts work different then these .
I will need to talk to our programing Dept to see what happened to your VIP status . I have no Idea and do not want to guess ntil we can look at the account . I am sure it will be handled today .If you do not hear back from me by 2pm EST please just send me a PM here in the community as well. This way know to follow up on this issue .
Will there be a leaderboard that is updated or will the stats be kept private until the end?
how can we keep track of how many races we run during tournament mode?
All stats will be kept private until the end. Each horse racing tournament will have different rules. That is the way this one works..we call it a blind horse racing tournament. When you see open scoring then the results will be updated in some sort of real time mode(maybe 1x per hour)
You can reset your stats from the game level by going to the stats page . this will NOT reset the horse racing tournament stats but will help you keep track if you want at your desk top . Please read the help files .
Will we be able to race against other members in the same race? And if not now, will that be available in the future?
when i select play tournament race it wont let me continue to play a race?
please read the tournament guidlines . You can find them in the schedule for the horse racing tournaments or going into the game and community info tab on the left and reading about our horse racing tournaments
This tournament works directly with you community game play mode not threw the tournamnet window or selection screen in the game . All jockey races and betting horse races you run in this horse race game during the tournament schedule running time will apply towards the horse racing tournamnet you have entered (you can enter more then 1) Just play the game as you would in the community mode it's that simple

Ok, that's good. I love the game and want to do tournaments but i don't have time to run a ton of races each day. That translates to having interest in tournaments that have like max 10 or 15 races.. Pre built ones would be even nicer so everyone competes with the same races.

There will be tournaments with all different qualifications . The number of races will only be tied to certain tournaments . Some of our horse racing tournaments will be just 10-15 races over 2-3 days . Do not worry there will be horse race tournaments for everyone .They will even be broken down by skill level
ARE THE TOURNAMENTS NOT WORKING?
Tournaments are working - if you signed up for a tournament - you need to simply play the game in community mode during the time frame for the tournament you entered. This initial tournaments will be based on your community mode activity for the game. You can view your community stats by looking at your "My Account" page. Tournaments will be determined by the stats posted from the start to end of the tournament.

I signed up yesterday for the vip jockey tournament, it showed that I was signed up on the calender and got a confirmation in my email. when I went to the tourny calender today it says signup is closed. Am I in or not?

why can I not get in a tournament??????
You can get into many horse racing tournaments . Please check your email for up dates . I would also check our community horse racing web site daily . You will see our horse racing game tournament schedule in the calender top right. Good lucK and have fun racing those horses
