I've been here since august 2008 and have never once heard anyone mentioning adding more methods of betting.

I think it is about time to add more exotic bettings as mentioned by bop52465. It will enhance the skills of the players even greater on how to strategize.

I think the game needs Trifecta's

Agreed, when i bet i rarely chose exactas, i want the big payouts!!! Personally i think trifectas and superfectas need to be added.

yeah the tri and exacta box would be nice, possiby even a super.

I agree this game needs more exotic bets, it'll add for fun in the gameplay. I would like to wager some of my CP on any trainer tournaments on exotic bets like trifectas and superfectas, instead on challenging a buddy. I think it'll add more realism to the game. It's still a great game though!

I made the same point when they changed to the $2 Win ticket I was told it would be much better this way,I still think it is like watching paint dry just making two dollar win bets.Open up a track and tell people you only accept $2 Win bets and see how many people show up everyday !!!...JMO....Stan

Why are they not more exotic bets? I would like to see trifectas and superfectas to spice things up....you have exata bowes, why not the same for trfectas and superfectas?....would add something new to the game.....Somebody should be able to program the bet......

YOU have 3 horse Exacta's....how much more complicated would it be to create a 3 or even 4 horse Trifecta?. I can understand that a lot of it has to do with progamming payout calculations, but it can't be anymore difficult to generate than what is already in place.... the Bettors game needs to grow in order to generate continued interest and grow new interest in the game.....

I'm sure all of these suggestions, could be programed and implimented quite easily. And possibly will be down the road. "But" (and this is a very big "but") There's too much on the plate to even consider this now.

Puddles has said as much over and over. Once the new release is out and the bugs are worked out, they'll have more time and available programmers to look into our suggestions. Puddles has stated this too. More than once. Not much else to do but wait and be patient. I'd like to see that small box with 8 of the horses names go to a bigger box with all names. Not just 8. And I'd like to see it made wider so that we see more than just abreviations.
This would make it easier for our track announcer, Willy. Very simple to do, but nobody available at this time to make this small change. Post parades and winners circle ceremony will enhance the game as well. IMO
I believe, Puddles said this is something they're planning on doing, as I recall from one of his posts a few months back. We'll get there. IMO

The betting game would become much more interesting if there was more exotic wagering. I think this is a great idea!

In defense of the game in regards to this issue, I think it is only fair that I reply by saying -

1. That AOI has made a big improvement in the game and that this issue has been addressed in the past. HRF has spent a lot of time and money on this project not ignoring it as the tone of this thread might suggest. They also involved veteran players in the testing and evaluated their opinions and feedback. While this problem does still exist it has been greatly reduced thanks to AOI. So let the truth be known that this issue has been addressed in the past and there have been major improvements including AOI.

2. Now, no offense meant to you or your horse but why not be completely honest here and also say that it was your horses very first 2 year old race. In real horse racing beginning and inexperienced 2 year old's do make these type of mistakes and learn from them. Can you expect a brand new never raced 2 year old horse to always run perfect races ? Of course not. Also this horse of yours has run some very fine races since its first race so this problem has not been continuous for you. This problem still does exist but it does not happen nearly as often as before AOI and that it happened to a never raced 2 year old isn't all that shocking to me.

3. Remember that you attract more flies with honey than vinegar. So please try to take a more positive approach when complaining about this subject as it is very sensitive to everyone. HRF is more likely to revisit this issue if you give some credit where credit is due. They have fixed a large portion of this problem and have admitted that it may never be 100 % eliminated.

4. Am I turning into a homer ? No, of course not but there are two sides to every coin and it is not fair to the newer players to not present both sides of this issue.
