If you breed a 133 and hasnt shown anything in trainer sessions to be even a half decent horse. What do you do with him? Do you spend 50,000 in an Insta that you are pretty sure he cant win? Do you just stick him in a Grade III and hope for the best? Do you retire the horse? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Speaking As A Pink (?) Trainer

I would never retire a 133. Give him One chance and see what happens.

Also, try aging him a year in training.

Those are also great horses to run in Reds after intentionally misplacing him in a tournament.

You know, a la Ahijah.

Maybe You Just Have Not Found

This horse's ideal racing conditions yet and this includes its age.

I had this dud 134 just like your horse so I just iced him down in the stable for about three months and let him listen to music. Then I finally discovered what I had missed all along which was his correct conditions (surface and distance) were turf soft and long distance, 8.5f to 10f.

Next thing I know this dud is running SR 140's in G-1's as a four year old.

Hang on to this horse and give him a chance.

thanks for the opinions

thanks for the opinions guys.....I am going to take a little time and decide. Maybe try a few more things, but I have been training the hell out of this horse looking for anything that resembles a race horse. lol Age, distance, tracks, competition, surface, conditions...I think he is just a POS but I may give him one try in an El Cheapo.

Kingsport- I will ask nicely one time...get this.....do not post on my threads with anything off topic or negative or I will become a little bitch and go to HRF. I have been very nice here and asked politely. Thank you.

Ty

I was only giving back to Starfish what he has dished out to me. Now about your horse. Give it a try in a G3 because some horses will perform better in tours than training. I have found that 133.9s are the worst horses for the most part though.

Over the past 5 days I have purchased a 131.5,131.7 and a 132.3 all from Snoz. The 131.5 looks great in training and the other two I haven't trained yet. The real way to see what a horse has in in real tours, and any of my new +130s could be duds. Hopefully your 133 will wake up in tours.

Speaking of Losers

I havent got a 130.0 or higher in 2 months. Must be a horse scam going on.

JB

I don't think it is a scam cause yeah I have 3 + 130s and 1+140 purchased lately, but I have had a lot of losers too. The 70.6 I bought was a real gem LOL. I have bought maybe 30 horses lately.
