In the search box and clicked search and this popped out. Can anyone out there translate this.

It is obvious that these variables contribute to the bsr. The one that jumps out at me is the owner ID. Breeding isn't just random luck if the owner ID is involved is it?

When Selecting A Tournament - The Numeric Codes

Performance is a lot more than just a horse's bsr.
The surface, track and distance's are of major importance too.

EXPLANATION OF RECOMMEND CODES:

3.0 Horse is highly recommended as an excellent fit for this race in terms
of ability and at least a reasonable preference for the track surface.
Fillies with this rating running in open races have sufficient ability
to have an excellent chance of winning.

2.5 (Trainer Game Only) 3-year-old in a race open to older horses in July.

2.3 Horse performs well on this track surface but not at its very best.

2.2 Horse is recommended as a reasonably good fit for this race in terms
of ability and preference for the track surface. Horse has less ability
than those horses rated as code 3.0.

2.1 Filly or mare in an open race of 7 furlongs or more with sufficient
ability to have a good chance of winning. This horse has less ability
than those fillies / mares rated as code 3.0 in open races.

1.9 Filly or mare in an open race over 8.0 furlongs where she will likely
be over matched. This horse has less ability than those fillies / mares
rated as code 2.1 in open races.

1.8 (Trainer Game Only) 3-year-old in a race open to older horses during
the months of January through June.

1.7 (Trainer Game Only) Fatigue level may be significant, or speed /
stamina conditioning is lacking.

1.6 (Trainer Game Only) Horse running in a sprint race but has the ability
to favorably compete in more important route races. Does not apply to
Grade 1 races of 8 furlongs, or races for 2-year-old's, or any time a
horse's stamina condition is significantly below optimum.

1.5 (Trainer Game Only) Similar to code 1.6 above except the horse's
stamina condition is somewhat higher to fully conditioned.

1.4 Horse is a reasonably good fit for this race in terms of ability and
preference for the track surface, similar to code 2.2 or above, except
that the horse would be competing at an age which is sub-optimal for
the horse.

1.3 Horse will likely be over matched in this race, having less ability than
those horses rated as code 2.2.

1.2 Horse does not particularly like the track surface and will be at a
disadvantage.

0.8 Horse has too much ability for this grade of race and would be better
placed in a more important race.

0.7 (Basic Game only) Horse running in a sprint race but has the ability
to favorably compete in more important route races. Does not apply to
Grade 1 dirt races of 7 to 8 furlongs, Grade 1 or 2 turf races of 7 to
8 furlongs, or when speed or stamina condition is significantly below
optimum.

0.6 Horse will likely be over matched in this race, having less ability than
those horses rated as code 1.3

0.5 Horse is a sprinter not appropriate for this route race.

0.4 Horse dislikes the track surface and will be at a distinct disadvantage.

0.1 (Trainer Game Only) Fatigue level is very high, or speed / stamina
conditioning is very low. Horse injury risk is relatively high.

The three small boxes above the ? Button represent counts of the horses
with Recommend Codes falling within the following ranges:
top box: 3.0 excellent fit for this race
2nd box: 2.0 - 2.9 good fit for this race
3rd box: 1.0 - 1.9 fair fit for this race
4th box: 0.7 - 0.8 horse's ability warrants more important races
