We have to agree that most 140+ are good enough to compete in G1 or G2. However the breeding of a high bsr is purely based on luck as stated and not everyone get lucky whether its hot combo or not. Most of the time it seems there is a minority group of breeders that get those 140+ or decent enough horse to race in a G1 or G2.

A DISPARITY IN THE GAME.

When I look around, I see many trainers get overwhelmed with joy when they breed a low 130 for the first time and yeah why not; its the best horse they ever owned and end up seeing their horse get crushed in a G3. Still they hang on to it; why? But why shouldn't they? Its their highest bsr ever! I bow down in my own thought; I was in their shoes too once upon a time.

So we end up counting on luck. If we get lucky, we will show our competency as a trainer.

Now for a solution, we can get rid of the bsr system and come up with 10-15 solutions that will make the game better for unlucky breeders and it will require very few changes, but who will be willing to change the game for good?

BSR

There doesn't need to be a solution, when there is no problem. Sounds to me that Amir1605 is having bad luck breeding lately, so this is the reason for this thread. Changing the BSR system won't change bad breeding luck. Every trainer here has had bad breeding luck myself included. The not knowing what BSR you get til after you breed the horse is called risk, and the best part of the BSR system. Even though the breedings don't seem fair, they really are If you think about it. It is random when you buy a horse, heck even the Admin got a +140 from the shed. HRF made it right and gave the prize to a non admin trainer.

So don't fix what ain't broke in the first place.

HRF should put that 140 horse

HRF should put that 140 horse in an insta. Let somebody have it to race.

maybe

Maybe HRF can make a blue tournament with BSR restrictions of 134 or make restrictions for G3 and G2 tournaments.

Just a thought

Its only trainers like you that need a bsr system to know if he has a good horse or a bad horse. Saying that you don't really know what you got until they hit the track is a fake assumption by poor trainers.

My idea of getting rid of the bsr doesn't really mean changing things. Just don't let the trainers look at it. Let them train and know what they got by themselves and if the horse worth a shot at G1 which should be the only way to the shed.

Well who am I arguing with? A trainer that would race 140s in G3s and would wish he was allowed to enter his 130s in blue 121!

Sad Little Amir

Yes I would put a 140 in a G3 as a first time starter, just like any other good trainer would do here. Or if I had a 140 that I put in a G1 and it sucked, then I would drop it in class just like in real horse racing. Like any other trainer.

You see Amir you have been brainwashed by Daaka way too long when it comes to my stable, It's time you pulled your head out of the clouds. Oh and once again, tweaking the breeding shed won't make you get a better horse.

No kingsport

I'm not brainwashed. I have seen it for myself. You are lowballing even in your posts.
Am I out of my mind if I start a 134 bsr in G1 as first time starter? No again, I'm doing it only because I know I stand a chance.

You just proved me right when it comes to bsr... why have it if it is allowed to run G3s with a 140 to face 130s? and I even saw a 147 in G3 lately..

A stepping up class as a solution. Once you win in a category, you should step up the class to the next level until you reach the top and dominate there. That is the horse that should go to the shed.

"You are lowballing even in your posts".

Now that's a good line.
I wish I'd thought of it.

When you have a shed horse of your own, then you can comment on what should happen with a horse going to the shed. Cause otherwise you look as foolish as Daaka on the subject. If you keep your mouth closed on the shed subject we will all be better off.

If you want to continue to whine on the Bsr issue go for it, at least you purchase horses.

I dont agree with that

You look stupid in saying if somebody doesn't have a shed horse there opinion doesn't matter. Some of the most intelligent people do not have a shed nor have a gold training badge. None of those things make you smart.

To prove how stupid that statement is when Puddles goes to release the new shed you should tell him to shut his mouth and then tell him he doesn't have any shed horses so who the hell does he think he is to decide the requirements a horse will need to be able to enter the new shed.

I cant wait to see what Puddles does with your account. LOL

It's a typical post by the most arrogant disrespectful trainer i've seen in the almost 4 years i've been here. Pathetic really...
