Is it just me or are the old graphics much better while watching the races than the new 3D web based races ? I like the old version 100X better than the new..What do you think ???...Stan

Absolutely agree Stan. My

Absolutely agree Stan. My first impression i loved the new viewer but the more i view it the less i like it. Graphics are so much better on the old client in my opinion. New viewer loses the realism and looks arcady to me but just my opinion.

I just replied to another

I just replied to another post related to that so here it is again:

yes, we have to scale the visual fidelity down more on the same hardware when running in the browser than when running as standalone application.
As i said before we´re also working on native apps for various platforms/devices though to ideally have a good option for all players no matter which they prefer.

On a side note the new web race viewer doesn´t have all features yet which the old one from the windows desktop client has but in return it has some which the old windows desktop client doesn't have.
Like custom scenery objects for many tracks and custom stands for over 20 track locations =)
Or things like being able to scrub back and fourth in the timeline of a race.
So yes, we´re working on making things look nicer and add some other nice features over time =)

I wish the focus was on

I wish the focus was on making the application (old version) the main game and have the web viewer as a extra plugin for those who want to watch a race on a cell phone or whatever.

You don't play world of warcraft in a browser plugin for a reason. Thats why it will always be slow IMO.

In agreement with, Stan and , Mod.

I don't even watch them in the new way. Now, why doesn't HRF make the tracks more realistic for us members using the old way of viewing????

@Modgraphix: Right now the

@Modgraphix:
Right now the new web race viewer is for watching races only, we will add more functionality on the web over time.

@all:
If you have any particular issues with the visuals please explain them in detailed way so we can see what can be addressed (when).
