Claimed 3rd place in his debut, came out of the gate like he was super glued in there, held next to last then rallied to get 3rd place. Beaten about 6 lengths by the eventual winner, Lucci The Lion, who took them gate to wire. Better luck next time for my big red baby.

Definately Not Bad

... For the first time out.. 6 lengths sound a little tough but how far back was he before he rallied ??? A bit more than 6 lengths I bet... Sounds like the horse did just fine. Big Red didn't even show in his first one... Good Job.

I would think that I would be

I would think that I would be very excited about a 3rd place finish in my debut....especially if it was the first horse I purchased/raced.

Congratulations !!!!

God damn, he must have been

God damn, he must have been at least 12 lengths behind before they hit the top of the stretch. Then he came from out of the clouds to circle the entire field wide and close the gap between the 2nd place horse and himself. He's a two turn boy, no doubt about it.

Great effort

Congratulations, Automn. I was able to watch the replay on TwinSpires today. Now, let's watch and see how those top two finishers develope. This coulld be a good gauge.
What many may not realise, this is not just an ordinary debut. This race, with a purse of $60,000 had a field of potentially good horses in it. Not just your ordinary maiden race. Ya know, the $12,500 variety. LOL
As a handicapper, a third place finish in this caliber race tells me something about the horse. I see potential.

Nice run

Interested in timing for next race. If within 2 wks. that says Albertrani used this race as a prep/workout, as East Coast trainers are known to do. If so, he may have something up his sleeve.
Had a very good workout routine leading up to race, if that continues then that's a plus also.
Be interesting to see if Rosario stays aboard, as Javier Castellano also rode for Albertrani on Wed. Either way, you can't go wrong...Joel is 6th in earnings this year and JC is 1st. Trainer gets some damn good jockey mounts.
Hope odds stay the same next out!! lol

Nice one for the big red

Nice one for the big red horse. I bet him and was a little disappointed at the start but I see great potential in that horse. I will put 100 to win on him next time out unless he's the favorite then I will use him in exacta. There is big money in NY State breeds with bonuses with each open race. I owned a few of them at Finger Lake’s and The NY Circuit. Its a shame I didn’t have them up in the lakes now, I hear the purses are unbelievable since they got slots.

How come

How come ya changed trainers?
Personally I think Hussion is a better trainer I know Tommy a long time
from his jockey days he rode alot for one of my old bosses. But I guess you have your reasons.
