This is offered as a game for entertainment. Yet all I am seeing is ads to buy stuff. Take surveys and ads. Spamming ads to have all my friends join.
Why would I do that? There is no game here. You get a free horse. And nothing to do.
There is not even a Chat room. You have to wait weeks to watch your horse run. Why would I buy credits to breed, I have not even been enticed enuf to try that.
And even if I breed, why spend $10 a month for entertainment, and then wait a month to watch the result. If they gave me lots of action (entertainment) sure then it is worth it.
There are too many other very good choices out there for $10 a month or less.
Sorry this game is not even for horse racing junkies....they love action, which is why you can play every track in the country now, and Vegas is making a fortune giving people non stop action.
I am sure this game is loosing 90% or more the folks who come to check this game out...and leave because not user friendly (not even an FYI) and primarily nothing to do.
The owners if they give PLAYERS what they want in entertainment would have lots of VIP sign ups. What do players want action all day. I want to enter races today and watch the within an hour or 2. We have enuf players online to do that.
This is a game design issue.
Also let folks breed 3 or 4 free horses to get sucked into the game. Let em watch their horse race reasonalbly right away.
Your graphics are pretty good. Your breeding algorithm is the best I have seen.

You only signed up today. Give this game a chance. To be brutally honest with you if you spend the $10 a month plus buy points, it gives you much more flexibility than playing for free. Not sure why you say it takes weeks to watch your race. In claimers it is 3 days for the tour start to finish. I have been a VIP since day one 16 months ago.
When it comes to online horse racing games you won't find a better one out there than HRF. Believe me I've played many of them.
Feel the need to open up and share us everything there thinking and how to change the game to benefit them without spending anything? Well I should change that title because I doubt you have spent anything since you been here.
Hey speaking of free things I always thought if HRF offered users a hooker every time they breed a horse that would be a great perk. Then these user wouldn't have need to date or be married and waste all there time and money with that foolishness and instead they could be on here 24/7 getting all there needs filled. Well maybe some would be getting filled but most would be doing the filling.

Glad you figured this game out in a few hours. I've been playing for over a year and still don't have a clue.
I've been playing with these ads and surveys and spaming ads for way too long now. I did get $1 (10,000) whole points for inviting a friend to play. That breeding algorithm is what everyone loves the most about this game.
On a serious note. You need to install the desktop client extension. You can play in the jockey and betting tournaments and get non stop action.

This game could grow on you so give it some time. It is cheaper than real wagering so actually some of us are saving money.
If you need instant gratification then just stick a butter knife into an electric wall plug.

The fact that you have a gold badge shows it's obviously is not a true indicator of a quality trainer.
You are a gold badge trainer because you ran two G1 horses in G3 tours padding your stats. Now that they are gone your win percentage is going down while mine is going up.
If I recall I calculated your win percentage without those 2 and it was 13.7% now it's at 13.1% and falling.
As with all games involving money,the free section is limited.The word FREE gets people to join.Then you realise that to get full enjoyment you must spend money if you want to be involved in breeding,training and racing.Breeding,training and racing is my favourite part of the game and the reason I became a member.Yes, it has cost me a lot of money.If you want to race horses without expense you could get a ps3 game like champion jockey.It is cheap to buy .Has excellent graphics and the jockey ai is more challenging.There are no ongoing expenses.However you are not part of a community where you race against other people.This game has many good aspects and if you get involved it can be addictive.I have been playing for almost 2 years and have enjoyed the competition.I now have a small stable of horses that are good enough to cover monthly expenses.Therefore it is now costing little or no expense to get full enjoyment out of the game.
