If I entered the wrong race by mistake...is there a way to withdraw my horse from the race?

Yes just go on the main page

Yes just go on the main page of the tournament and at the bottom of the page it will show your horse that is entered and next to it on the right it will say QUIT. Click on that and that will get them out of there. Unfortunately they will age though. It's happened to me quite a few times.

Scratching a horse from a race

Yes I found my horse entered on the page....and to the right it says Race not started yet....but No QUIT button is on that page or any other page next to my horse.
Am I blind? or just a total novice playing on this first day?
This game and the lay out of the pages is rather "first time user hostile" and not very intuitive.

I must have misunderstood

I must have misunderstood you, I thought you meant you signed up for the wrong tournament. When you sign up for an individual race (inside a tournament), no you cannot get out of that. My apologies.

Scratching a horse from a race

Weird...not very realistic...in real life you can scratch a horse the day before any race...and from almost any race right up till just before race time.
Thanks for your answer.

Realism

In real life the trainer would be fired for putting his horse in the "wrong" race!
Scratches occur due to injury, illness or track condition changes.
Here, the conditions are already known and your horse doesn't get a sudden injury or sickness.
In our game, "the race" could be looked upon as the whole tourny overall. If you're that worried about one 'race' in a 'tourny', then perhaps you've entered the wrong tourny also.
