i jst done that and cum in 3rd but got no points 4 it.
points can take up to 15 minutes or more to hit ur account depending on ur internet connection speed.

im guessing you have downloaded the game right? so top left corner is a yellow button QUICK START.. click that, choosea horse, then click horse, click ride and continue.. if you place top 4 you get points.
you dont actually race other members. you get the points playing quick start daily...
