How good is Blue Legend, one of the HRF community horses? She has excellent speed and good stamina, and I think she is an on-lead horse, yet as far as I can remember, I have never seen her win anything.

I used to ride Blue Legend in the jockey game, but I've given up riding her now because she keeps getting beaten. I'd like to find out if Blue Legend keeps getting beaten because I'm not riding her properly, or if she's simply not that good despite her speed and stamina ratings. Incidentally, I've beaten Blue Legend twice recently with Aces Wild in Quickstart races.

Here's the deal on , Blue Legend

She's terrible. In my games, she ran 13 times, never getting in the money. Her best speed rating is a low 104. Her average moneys won per start is,a low $1,400. I just ran her against 11 of my mid level 120's at 1 mile on fast dirt. She finished dead last, beaten 30 lengths. Never in contention throughout. I think she could be found in the number 3 female file. I wouldn't waste my time training against her. Oh,if you want to win everytime, that's a different story. LOL

Thanks! I wonder why Blue

Thanks! I wonder why Blue Legend is listed as having excellent speed and good stamina then? From what I've seen of her, I would list her as fair to good speed and poor stamina. To me, excellent speed and good stamina means horses like Here Comes Thunder and Aces Wild, for example.

EDIT

Today, I decided to see just how bad Blue Legend is, so I raced Here Comes Thunder against her over 5f and 12f, on good dirt, fast synthetic, and firm turf. As expected, Here Comes Thunder destroyed Blue Legend every time, even on the turf, which is a surface that Here Comes Thunder doesn't particularly like, and Blue Legend does. Over 5f on turf, Here Comes Thunder beat Blue Legend by 10 lengths, and over 12f on turf, Here Comes Thunder beat Blue Legend by 55 lengths, in a time of 2:26.84; Blue Legend's time was 2:35.95.

Blue Legend

Starts: 174
Wins: 11
Second: 18
Third: 25

Highest SR, a 108 on turf, but consistently is below 100.
23 starts on "wet" track, and never hit the board.
Not sure how well Flyingdaaka does riding the horse, but this horse is almost always a pass.

It's as I suspected, Blue

It's as I suspected, Blue Legend really isn't very good! As I said previously, Blue Legend should not be listed as excellent speed and good stamina; she's clearly fair to good speed and poor stamina.

I've also raced Here Comes

I've also raced Here Comes Thunder against Blue Legend over 8f, again on good dirt, and Here Comes Thunder destroyed Blue Legend easily. Incidentally, I had Big League in the race as well, and he finished last. He must be even worse than Blue Legend, unless he's just useless on dirt and good on turf; I don't know what he's like on turf.

blue legend

the game is not wrong about his speed, but is definitely wrong about the stamina.. he is as good as a green 110 horse.. fast dirt, sand, slop, soft turf.. won 5 times in my game but only on 5F

Big League

Not that good. Although he ran a good from behind second to a bunch of my lesser horses (80 ish speed rating) he was no match whatsoever for a field (8) of my mid 120 ish horses. Ran last throughout and finished last, beaten about twenty lengths. 117 speed rating for the winner. Dirt/fast....8 furlongs.

I didn't think Big League

I didn't think Big League was that good. He's certainly no match for Here Comes Thunder on dirt, and Aces Wild and Flying Post would probably destroy him on turf.

I know that Aces Wild destroys Blue Legend on turf; I've twice had them both in 12f turf races in Quickstart, and Aces Wild won easily both times whilst Blue Legend finished 5th. Fortunately, I was riding Aces Wild in both races! It makes me laugh when I see Blue Legend listed as 'well-deserved favourite' when there is a horse like Aces Wild in the field, since Aces Wild is definitely one of the top horses in the game, and one of the best turf horses.

Incidentally, how good is Daisy Cutter? I've noticed that people keep saying on here how good she is, but I haven't found her to be that special. I've ridden her two or three times, I think, and I don't think I've won anything with her yet. Here Comes Thunder, Lightening, and Whispering Spirit have all beaten her over different distances, Here Comes Thunder over 12f, Lightening over 6f, and Whispering Spirit over 8.5f.

once upon a time

These horses keep changing their ability.. once upon a time daisy cutter was unbeatable..2 months ago here comes thunder was certainly 25% better than what it is right now.. trainers who really train their horses will notice it.. now maybe it varries in every person's game..
