I have posted this already in Trainer Section..but i wanted several people to read and possibly give me any help. My horse Worlds Flashing By has a base speed of 65.. Is that good or bad? She ran very well at first with 6-6.5f distances, placed fairly good in her first tournament. But now she seems to be running out of energy at 6f and is placing 3rd and below. I understand she could have just been having lots of off days, but i would like to know any info about her base speed, or base speed in general. Please & ThankYou.

Most(if not all)

trainers in this game would probably have retired that horse without ever racing it. You might try using lasix and if that doesn't help you could try vetting it. good luck and keep trying the low bsr horses. Sometimes they can really run. Freda

If you mean Base Speed as in

If you mean Base Speed as in the Dat file, 65 isn't good. 67 Is average and ideally you'd be above that. If you mean the horses Birth speed rating is 65, it's basically dead already so you might as well retire it. lol. But I don't think that's what you mean so no worries.

sorry about the bad info.

Being a new player I thought you ment BSR. All my 10 horses have a66-67-68 base. 7 of the are over a 122 bSR and 1 is a 130+. I wouldnt worry to much about that number.

Maude ..... Base and, or BSR numbers

They are different numbers and shouldn't be confused. When you first turn on your computer and see the icon for HRF game, left click on the icon. You'll see a menue. Scroll way down to near bottom. Look for the one that says training (hope I have that right (LOL))
Click on the training and you'll see every horse in your stable. For you, that would be one horse. If you have 20 horses, or whatever number, that's how many horses you'll see. There wil be a bunch of statistical numbers for your horses. The one on extreme left. The very first number, is the base number.
Btw, your horse is a big one at 16.8 hands. Hope that means something. LOL Anyway, welcome to our game. Sit back and enjoy. Move slowly, read everything, participate on forum and get a mentor. Although I never had a mentor, it is highly recommended.Good luck with your stable.
