Ironically I was going to buy 200,000 points last night but held off and just went to bed. Woke up this morning and I had 100,000 points from nowhere. Horses didn't bring it in as no finals have been run yet..soooooooo, where did these 100,000 points come from?

Maybe there my point for you becoming a VIP which I never get. 3 player have become VIP that I mentored and have not even received a point for anything as of yet. Not tournament cashes or when a student buys points. That the only thing we get for mentoring a student, but I guess I keep doing it because I like helping out.
be glad u got points lol im sick of the 20k rip offs havn't recived a single 20k payout and have completed everything it says to do guess ill have too start buying as well

I figured it out, it was from the bonus rewards program for my horses performing well in their races.
Does anybody make enough points to keep playing without buying them or being a VIP? I've tried to do surveys, but I never qualify for any....
What is the best way to get free points, or do I need to buy some to get started?
The 1400 point opinion surveys work 90% of the time you just watch commercials. Buying points is a lot faster and being a vip gets you a ton of advantages. $10 a month for vip is the way to go. The gift card tours that pop up once in a while are nice to win! I have won 4 gift cards so far and HRF will send them to you! If you are not a vip then you can't win them though. Plus you get discounts on your stable fees among other nice things.

The VIP is the way to go. The best 10 bucks a month you can spend.
You could keep a small stable if you jockey. Flyingdaaka, throughout his career, has consistently kept a stable between 12-15 horses for 2 1/2 years without spending a lot of money. Jockeying for points and getting some OK horses and being a sharp, keen, saavy game trainer will make this possible.
Free point offers will drive you mad. Purchasing points will get you excited.
