Hi peeps, i love this game and am trying to be competitive as fast as i can but i have a growing barn with a number of horses that have a unknown training schedule, is there any way i can compare how the horse performed against what training instructions i gave. your help would be most appreciated.

Instructions

I keep track of all instructions I give all 90 of my horses on Microsoft word programs. Then compare the instructions to the races results.

That's right, Ryan..

You need to keep notes.. That's the only way to keep track of Jockey Instructions and Workouts.. Otherwise you'll be guessing for each tournament.. ( which may not be a bad idea, maybe I should try that LOL)

Spreadsheet ??

Actually, I use Microsoft Wordpad... I keep a file on each horse.. a lot less room for error that way.

An Alternative ????

When you enter a Tournament there is a "Comment" section where you can keep your notes. I keep my jock/trainer Instructions in this space. When the race is over then I go back and edit this section and place the SR of the race next to my Instructions. I do this after each race of the tourney.

You can then go to your STABLE page and look under Training Tools. There is a link where you can "Review Comments From Previous Tournaments"

This will keep the records you need, I believe. The only drawback is you CANNOT enter/EDIT any info AFTER the Final race of the Tourney because the edit button is immediately taken down after the race. Puddles did say they are looking into correcting this drawback.

kentuckiana that is very

kentuckiana that is very very useful thank you, as i said i have a growing barn and want to be competitive so this helps a great deal.

As your quote says 'Always Remember That A Bad Day At The Races Is Better Than A Good Day Anyplace Else !!!' I love horse racing and being from the uk we have lots of it. My younger cousin is a jockey miss kasey loftus and has had 1 win at kempton park against the pros as a claiming amuter! Im off to lingfield park on the 24th of this month just 10 mins away but im hoping for a good day its my lucky track! I must say we are a bit tight for space in the uk but lingfield park is a lovely track with country side all around!

Thank you for your response!

Spreadsheets

I keep a spreadsheet on all my horses at every age. That way you can track they're progress, or just have a quick peek at the year you are racing at :)
