It sounds like you are either not connected to the internet or your firewall is blocking the communication to the game server. In both cases you would not be able to use

Quick Start
Advance mode
Launch Community
Add Horses Get Upgrades
or race in tournaments

Since you used the internet to make your post, I would guess your firewall is blocking. Double check that.

The problem you're having is very unusual. You have data being transmitted but yet the restrictions are acting like either your firewall is blocking our game or maybe you just had a faulty install. Here's what I suggest. Remove our program completely through your Add/Remove Programs process. While you're there, is it possible that you have an older version of our game on your computer? If you do, remove that, also. Some people have had a problem installing the newer version over an old version. Once you remove our game (or games), reinstall the game by going to the Get Horse Race Game on the top right here in the community. From that page begin the install process. Save it to your computer (desktop), make sure all other programs are closed, then Run the install. When the registration display, click on "Already have an account" and enter your username and password as requested.

When that's finished, you will be prompted again to turn off your firewall or you may be prompted BY your firewall program. If prompted, choose "Allow". If you're not prompted by your firewall, proceed to the game. Make sure you're connected to the Internet and you should have access to all of the navigation and your main game screen should be burgundy. If the buttons are still not accessible, then go into your firewall settings and "allow" the following two programs: hrgcomm.exe and horseraceatl.exe.

Hopefully this should resolve the problem. Question, Joey. You're not playing our game offline, are you, because that might explain part of the problem. If this doesn't work, we would like to talk with you because this is a very unique situation for us and we'd like to be able to duplicate it in our testing department. If this does not work, please send an email to support@horseracegame.com, give us your username and that we contacted you through the forums and provide a way to contact you so one of our programmers can get to the bottom of this situation. Hopefully our suggestion resolves the problem or we look forward to hearing from you so we can learn more about the problem and get it fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Up and running thanks a ton for your help the reinstall worked. My internet access was blocked.

Glad it worked . You had a very strange issue .Might of been the fire wall or just a bad install

It was my norton internet security I still have turn it off everytime I play or it stays offline.
