That does sound the logical way of doing it. I was in 3 tournaments where "cheating" occured and I got my entry fee back for all 3 which totaled near 10,000 so I was kinda happy actually.

The subject is a moot point. Once the patch is out, 90% of the tournaments that were canceled would not have been affected. We will only be disqualifying the player or players. It requires a software grade which will be forced to all users once we go through testing. For now, tournaments are reviewed, if there is suspicious play, we just refund everything. But, like I said, it's a moot point. The long-term plan is to disqualify the player.
