I have had similar results. Sometimes I breed 50 horses and get 1 or 2 to keep. At other times I get 4or more in the mid 130s.It appears to be luck.You have to be lucky enough to be breeding at the time the computer has programmmed to give high bsr horses.Sometimes you win ,sometimes you lose.It is a GAMBLE.Best of luck in the future.Iknow how you feel.

21burns, It is a big gamble that us take when we are breeding horses. I breed about 2 or 3 at a time and then sometimes, I just breed one horse. You also have to have luck on your side when breeding.

yes luck and more luck i need as well when it comes to breeding, wow blackcaviar a dozen or so 130's great for you.

i think i must really pick the wrong times for breeding then. i cant seem to find a hot combo these days at all even if i got a couple 120 odds would do me that could run as well would be nice lol

I believe it is luck. I can breed a large number at one sitting and dont get anything worth keeping. One time I was just playig around and bred three of the same combo and got two in the 130s and one mid 120 so its being at the right place at the right time.

While we are on the topic of breeding, are my eyes playing tricks on me. I do remember someone breeding a 140 a couple of days ago but it is showing the leader as someone who bred a 135.7.

it not good to breed a lot in one day like 50 the computer will lock you out from getting high bsr, that from puddles he told me that when i started playing this game months ago,20 breeds a day is tops first 10 seems better than the last 10

When I breed a horse I take my mouse and hover over its name. Then look at the bottom of my computer screen in the link of the horse. At the end of the link there is a 6 digit number, that number is the number of the horse that has been generated by the computer.

So lets say the horse I bred number was 151955, then the next horses number was 151956. Well obviously I got the next horse spit out by the computer. If another trainer is on and breeding at the same time and I had not hit the button before he did, then his horse would have been 151956. So do those numbers mean you will get a +130 ? No.

What I have found though is when I breed the next say 10 horses in a row 956,957,958, etc.., the bsrs are pretty lousy. When I wait a while between breedings the results are better. When I was at Digiturf it was set up the same way with those numbers. Except at Digiturf some trainers would buy the next 100 horses out of the computer and only get 1 or 2 monsters. At $15 a pop thats just plain scary!!! The results here at HRF are a whole lot better let me assure you.

there is only 1 or 2 to keep out of 50 does that mean you retire them right away or what?

not right away i generally run them against the best in the stable for there class, 90% of the time the new horses generally fail in training. I wait 1 or 2 days to determine to retire or vet. recently i posted my bad exp retiring low bsr and then attempting to breed the computer seem to dish out similar low bsr horses..

Thanks for everyones remarks is very helpful, especially about puddles remarks not to breed more then 10 or 20 max a day... Cause i remember back in the days 2008-2009 'brianshaw' myself and other trainers were encouraged to go hard! hit hit hit and bang out comes Lord Outstanding...smiles Perhaps its changed, but i guess its everyones own choice breed and get lucky..
