Belmont Fun

Ran my one race as a jockey in community mode and pulled off the upset with Denis of Cork by 4 1/2 lengths over Big Brown at odds of 9:2.

Casino Drive finished 3rd 5 1/4 lengths back of Big Brown with Icabad Crane finishing off the superfecta.

No Casino Drive in the race

With no Casino Drive in the race I am not sure the Belmont will be that fun . I am excited to see our next triple crown winner. I am going to play the horse racing game now and try to beat the BIg Brown .

I like Tale Of Ekati in the

I like Tale Of Ekati in the real Belmont so thats who I've been using. I was 2nd by a nose to Big Brown. I beat him using Casino Drive but now I'm scratching him each time I run it. I used Big Brown once and won by 15 with Denis Of Cork second.

not sure hoe you guys are

not sure hoe you guys are running the race. I downloaded the race file and it says can not jockey or bet a pre built race.

Unless you guys bought the horses and are recreating the race?

XXUPDATEXX nevermind I randomized post positions and it allowed me to jokcey..please ignore...I want my 10 points for posting :)

Pre Built races

when you play a pre built race only the first time you run it will it allow you to earn points in the community mode and will report the stats to the community mode. After you run the pre built race you can only run in community mode if you randomize traits or scramble post positions.
You can run the race as is all you want in privite mode over and over. The idea with prebuilt races was we wanted to be able to make sure community stats are kept fair . If a user as a jockey and or bettor could run the race over and over in community mode then it would be to easy to earn community points and also inflate their horse racing game community stats .
If any one as any questions on this please let us know and I will be glad to help .

Mike, This isn't a question,

Mike,

This isn't a question, it's more of a suggestion. With today being a big day and I'm sure A LOT of Forms were sold around the Nation. So, have you guys thought about putting an advertizement or two in there? With a catchy phrase or slogan you might attract a nice number of people.

think da' tara's numbers are

think da' tara's numbers are low in this game. ran him against 5 horses in the file he was the 4/5 favorite and his speed figure was an 80? he did run well before running in the belmont. 92 AND 89 BEYER

as for the actual belmont, i think big brown should have went to the lead and not restrain him, threw him off big time. in the horse racing game he went to the lead every time and won big. too bad the race wasnt sent to desormeaux first

Da Tara's number in our horse racing game

You can mix the trait numbers up by setting randomization to very high. The horse ran better then his game form that is for sure. I also think Big Brown wasted time and should of been on the front during the race. I thought he got tied up early and maybe even kicked as well. I watched the start over and over and the horse looks like he was kicked we ran up on the horse in front of him.
I wanted my friend to win the triple crown so bad. I will not call him out of respect for a week or so. No one from that camp is happy.
The good news is the horse seems to be okay (we hope)
I would love to see him in a horse race against Curlin . I want to know how good big brown really is.....
