Alright, I emailed support, and I did what they told me to do, however I got no results.
I was a previous user of the old version of the game. When I logged on the other night, it told me that there was a new version of the game available! I was like cool. So I downloaded it, and the first thing I went to do was create me silks. However, when I got there it told me that "silksapp.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close." I also sometimes get this when I open up the game file. Now, I went on to the tournament schedule and tried to join a jockey tournament and when I go to sign up for the tournament it says: "It seems you do not have the correct version of the game. This feature will be available with the new version of the game which will be avaiable shortly."
Now, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game about 5-10 times, I have checked my firewall, I have even restart my computer, I have restored my computer to an earlier date and still nothing is happening. Now, when I use my 2nd desktop (which is my roomates computer) I am able to download the game and play it just fine! So, does anyone have any suggestions as to what I should do next? Is there a way for me to get a hard copy of the game?
Thanks for your help everyone! It is greatly appreciated!
Our new horse racing game had a problem for users who are running either XP or Vista 64bits. The game runs fine, but the communication between the game and the server was not being transmitted properly, preventing scores or racing points (community points) while jockeying or betting from being sent to the server and credited to your account. The other issue was, when logged into the community, players were being told, even after they upgraded to the new version of our horse game (10.89), that they did not have the correct version of the game for these features. This was on both the shared races and the tournament schedule pages.
This issue is now resolved. If you have the problems mentioned above and you are running an XP or Vista 64bit operating system, please email support@horseracegame.com and ask for the patch. It's literally only 30 seconds to install - just a few clicks of your mouse.
All members who reported this issue to support over the last week have been sent the patch by email to the email address we have on record in our game. Some people use Yahoo and Hotmail. If so, check those email accounts and your junk mailbox, as well. Again, any other issues, concerns or requests for the patch - don't post here in the forums. Email support@horseracegame.com, request the patch, you'll get it immediately.
Enjoy racing, jockeying and betting in our new horse racing game!

UBUNTU!!!
Hi, Puddles and Mommalee,
I'm sitting here at my upstairs desktop and see that it says 64 - bit edition with Service Pack 1
To my knowledge, everything seems to work just fine. Excellant racing and great graphics, etc.
If there is a problem, I'm not aware of it. I don't always watch my daily accumulated points, or all of the many statistics. I'm wondering if it's possible that I have a problem associated with Vista 64 - bit that I'm unaware of??? Possibly with points and statistics??? I don't believe that I've ever installed any patches.
I think I'm ok, (everything seems to be as it should be) just curious. Never hurts to confirm.
how do you get community races?
I think your issue is a Vista issue we have with players running 64bit's . About 5% of our users have the issue and we are on it . Please read the full reply . If you are running Vista and you have done all we suggested please just send a email to support and ask for the Vista Patch that we are working on . It should be just a few days . Tell support You have tried all the other suggestions and you want the patch . Below is the email we have sent to some other users (with general suggestions but you might have tried all of them ) . Let support know you user name as well Support@horseracegame.com. THE PATCH WILL FIX THE ISSUE IF THIS IS YOU COMPUTER CONFIGURATION . In the mean time you can play the game and build up stats on you horses you just can not enter events or get player community points .
I see you previously had the old version of the game, it seemed to run fine and reported to the community. We’re going to start over here. I’m going to ask you to close down all programs. Then remove all programs related to Horse Racing Simulation LLC or Horse Racing Fantasy. There are two ways to remove programs. From the Add/Remove Program under your Control Panel if you’re running XP, or if you’re using Vista, click on Start, then All Programs and look for the entry entitled Horse Racing Simulation LLC. Highlight that listing and you should see Horse Racing Fantasy3. Highlight Horse Racing Fantasy3 and you should see the option to Uninstall. Click on that and follow through the uninstall process. I’m truly not trying to be rude, but just in case you’re not that experienced (as far as I know you might be a computer programmer – LOL), while you are running the uninstall process it will lead you to believe that you are “installing”. Just follow through with the program and it WILL uninstall. Do not try to “modify” or “repair”. This will completely remove the program. Once done, go to www.horseracegame.com and click to download the new version. Make sure, again, that all programs are closed. Save the new download to your desktop and then run the install program. When the registration page displays, click on “Already have an account” and enter your username and password as requested. Do not create a new account (re-register). My suggestion would then be to run two Quick Start races, then log into the community. When you go to the community, if you are automatically logged in, log out and close the window. Then enter the community again and log in. This will eliminate any cache issues that might be there. You should then be able to go to any page in the Tournament Calendar past today’s date and receive the correct messages based on your eligibility for tournaments. You should NOT see the “You have the incorrect version of the game” message. Run the races first and check the community If you still have a problem at this point, please to support and we will have to set up a with a special patch we are working on for players using Vista with 64 bits(Make sure you send to support if this does not work so we can add you to the patch list) .Please also state that you have a Vista operating system with 64 bits so we do not waste time with other suggestions. One last thing, make sure we’re not being blocked by your firewall. The concept behind our program is simple. When you open the game and run your first race, it communicates to our server. It passes along your version ID number. If a firewall is up and we cannot communicate, the database cannot be updated and you’ll never have access to the tournament, nor will you be able to accumulate points while jockeying or betting in community mode.
We have about 5% of our users running Vista with 64 bits and this is a issue with our new communication piece. We just figured out the problem yesterday and will have the patch done in the next few days but you can try my other suggestions above(if you have not already) it has helped some
