Just thought some of you might find this interesting. The horse Rapid Redux went for a record tonight. According to Fox News:
"Rapid Redux led from start to finish Monday night for his 20th straight victory, the longest winning streak in modern thoroughbred racing in North America. By winning a starter allowance race at Mountaineer Racetrack in Chester, W.Va., Rapid Redux moved ahead of previous record holders Zenyatta and Peppers Pride."
I don't care what level you are racing at, twenty wins in a row is an amazing feat. I went out to Laurel and watched him win number 18, at least I think it was 18. This horse has a lot of heart. I even kept the program LOL
Interestingly, I started a thread a few weeks ago when this horse was going for the record. However, they scratched the horse that night and then I forgot to do a follow up. I thought he'd do it. I'm so happy for him. Congratulations. I was at Bay Meadows when, Lost In The Fog (local horse) got his tenth win in a row to remain undeafeated. The crowd really cheered for their local hero.
This is an example of a horse entering low in real life. It keeps running cheap allowance races at lesser tracks. Flyingdaaka wouldn't be surprised if the owner of this horse turned out to be one of you people in here.
Not on the same level of others. Shouldn't even be mentioned.

Nice, daaka. I needed that laugh
They justkeep on running him in the right condition. Some of the starter allowance races can come up tough and to win 20 in a row is exceptional at any level. At the end of the year he will probably have to face open company, as he will not be eligible for starter 5000. I believe he can step up
Pay no attention to flyingdaaka. He speaks to himself in the 3rd person. Kinda hard to take a guy like that seriously. Doublevision is his private butt monkey.
thas my horse
